To pursue Diploma in Pharmacy (D.Pharmacy) course in Athena College of Pharmacy, a candidate must have fulfilled the following eligibility criteria:-

Eligibility

  • The candidates must qualify their 12th with a minimum of 50% with English as one of the subjects and Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics (PCM), or 3 years degree courses in Science.
  • A minimum aggregate score of 50% at the 10+2 level.

Duration - 2 years

This comprehensive course provides in-depth knowledge of pharmaceutical sciences, drug formulation, pharmacotherapy, pharmacokinetics, and pharmaceutical analysis. Students also gain practical experience through internships, clinical rotations, and research projects, preparing them for roles in community pharmacies, hospitals, pharmaceutical companies, research institutions, and regulatory agencies.

Eligibility

  • Candidates who have passed 10+2 examination / two year P.U.C. examination of Karnataka P.U.C. Board or an equivalent examination of any other approved board or university with not less than 40% marks in any combination comprising P.C.M. or P.C.B. (minimum eligibility should be based on the aggregate of P.C.M. or P.C.B.) or P.C.M.B.
  • Pharmacy candidates are eligible for direct admission to second year B. Pharmacy.
